The heartwood and sapwood of Oregon Maple are more consistent in color than with the other maples. Oregon Maple has a beautiful reddish tinge which really stands out when a clear finish is applied. Also known as Pacific Coast or Big leaf Maple it is usually finished natural or with a light stain. Pictures are shown with clear finish.
