Log home builders love to use these beautiful character grade rustic maple doors in their log homes and log cabins. All knots, worm holes, mineral streaks and color variations are included at no additional cost. Many door designs are available and these rustic doors can be made as exterior doors or interior doors.
Soft Maple is suited to most of the same uses and looks very similar to hard maple. Soft Maple is similar in hardness to American Cherry. The heartwood is usually light reddish-brown, but sometimes darker. The sapwood is commonly white with a slight reddish-brown tinge. Our Soft Maple Doors can be finished natural or with a light brown stain.
